Rocky Glen Historical Marker

At the beginning of August, 2008, the PA State Museum and Historical Commission dedicated a new historical marker near the former Rocky Glen Park.

The marker recalls this popular park that had its heyday when the Laurel Line connected it to Scranton, Wikes-Barre and all the other surrounding communities.


Shots of the Rocky Glen Park Historical Marker on a sunny Fall Day. Almost nothing remains of the structures at the park as many arson fires over the years have claimed them.
